Welcome to Nicklins Opticians

Nicklins Opticians was established in the upper high street in 1928 by Barrie Nicklin. His father had a jewellery business in the adjacent building. Since then it has provided a very personal and caring service for its patients many of whom have lived in Guildford for several generations.

The business is now run as a small partnership. The current General Optical Council registered partners are Mr Roger Nicklin (BSc Hons FC Optom), Mr Paul Davies (FBDO) and Mr Andrew Dodgson (BSc Hons MC Optom).

The practice caters for all aspects of eye care which includes eye examinations and the supply and fitting of spectacles and contact lenses.

Nicklins keeps up to date with all styles of frames and lenses and uses the latest eye examination equipment.
